Do you ever feel like you get a really inspired idea, like an answer to a prayer and then it turns out the answer is actually really hard and a lot of work and may still cause anxiety/stress even though you know it's a great idea and it's going to fix the problem in the end??

I know that's cryptic and dramatic. We are all doing fine down here, it's just that special place is where i've been lately.   Up to my eyeballs in workish things.

anyway, we are officially OUT OF SCHOOL FOR SUMMER!!

so now what are we going to do?

Definitely rethinking the season pass for magic mountain/hurricane harbor idea.  although, simon the silent escape artist, in either a place doesn't sound like a great idea.

I finally bought a backpack leash for him because i've lost him so many times, and at home he and penny play puppy or kitty with it.  So, i went to the mall with him on the leash the other day and he got down on all fours barking and meowing alternatively and wouldn't walk normally at all. I ended up carrying him with the backpack on and the leash dangling behind me.

I went and looked at a house with a pool the other day.  I really want that house. Won't be getting that house this summer, but i really want it.

Anyway, we had a donut party after school today with 2 of owen friends and one penny friend to celebrate summer. They were all playing in the backyard when Penny walked in from the fort and said, "we're pretending the british are coming."

then Kylie screams, "BRITISH!!"

They all screamed and ran around the kitchen and back outside.

what the....  i don't know.

p.s. i need a drinking fountain installed in the yard.

Owen's friend just came into kitchen and i asked what they were doing in owens room. He said, "talking".

me:  oh, what are you talking about?

ethan: Nothing.

me: Are you talking about girls??

ethan: NO!

me: are you talking about GIRLSSS???

and he runs away yelling to the boys, "She found out!! Ah, she found out!!"
