Grandma and Grandpa just left to go back home. we had them for the whole weekend and it was great.
Big highlight to the start of the summer?
Penny learning how to ride a two wheeler. It was incredible. She got a balance bike for Christmas that is teeny and has no pedals so she would scoot her self along and balance and ride and steer. So yesterday we were up at the school grounds with my parents and the swierengas and we put penny on Ezra's bike and she literally took off!!
That crazy little bike worked! if you have a toddler, go get one. amazing.
So here she is cruising up and down the sidewalk.
Otherwise, we had yummy food (think lots of caramel popcorn last night, thank you grandma) great conversation and grandpa cleaned our backyard and grill this morning. wahoo!
Our favorite Kekauoha's come to pick up sophie and stayed a while chatting. LOVE them.
my dad lost 50 pound recently and i was calorie counting with him up until the popcorn came out. bye bye diet.
We also had a taco fiesta early this afternoon and then they had to leave. Penny was very sad.
Sophie bonded with grandma over dishes and one piece bathing suits
Simon loved and hugged on both of them...and their ipads.
Owen and grandpa fixed our leaky bathtub faucet this morning to pass off a cub scout requirement.
Awesome, awesome weekend.
Headed to a pool party in an hour.

Micah learned on a balance bike and Tyson is learning on it now. Those things teach them so quickly its amazing. Love all the pics! You look great as always. Hugs

Oh my heavens! What a big girl! Tess can't even ride a two wheeler yet! Maybe a balance bike is in order. Yeah for awesome weather, mom and dad and you looking like Sophie's sister. For realzies.

ReplyDeleteAnd sarah, look at walmart.com. we bought ours at walmart in vegas at christmas and it was cheap! like 35 bucks or something.
