holy cow

party highlights: 

• Kirsten singing with the parent band, THE DECIDERS.  
• yummy bananas foster. so yummy Doug looked up a recipe and made it for the dinner last night with the missionaries.
• DANCING.  like we haven't danced in YEARS.  it was so funny watching everyone relive their youth.  so AWESOME.   
• fun swag that we, of course, had to pay for.  but it at least it was good stuff! 
• didn't win any auction items. There were 2 tickets to The Voice at the live auction. the opening bid was 1000 dollars.  A THOUSAND dollars. I thought it would be fun to take sophie so after the auction closed (and no one bid on it) i asked if i could buy for 500 (which is still crazy) but they said NO. apparently,  the VOICE people who donated have rules about it and they can't be sold for less?  whatever!! i've got my eye on those. we shall see. 
• rock lobster is the LONGEST song in history.  we had to leave after that. we too old.  oh and the party was almost over.

Mid Dance Party.  We a tad sweaty. got some platform pink pumps that were fun to wear.
made me look less like i was attending a funeral. hahaha

Seminary came early this morning, but we're back in the saddle.  Happy MONDAY!
