happy Friday

So tomorrow is our preschool fundraiser.  it's kind of a big deal (ya know, to the preschool peeps) and the theme is PROM.

hahaha, PROM??  it's going to be pretty great except i don't know what to wear.  as usual.

So i was trying on 2 dresses sophie bought for halloween last year and i went into the kitchen and simon looked at me real funny and then said, "that's sophie's princess. it's not for you."

Wait, don't you like it on me?

"No! it's not your princess. it's not for you"

Well, ok. I'd need a little jacket/shrug dumb thing anyway so FINE i won't wear sophie's princess.

Maybe i'll wear the black retro dress, find a tulle slip to make the skirt more dramatic and then do a beehive some cat eyes. oh! and gloves maybe?   shoes...shoes....shoes... not sure about the shoes and maybe i need to make an appt at sephora.  maybe they can do a little pin up make up for me? (this list sounds hilarious with 2 babies in tow.)

I really wanted to go 80's but i don't think i can pull it together!  probably should have thought about it before the day before.  duh.

miraculously doug is in town and will be coming with. should be a blast.
