We saw Coldplay at the Hollywood bowl on Tuesday night.
It was, of course, incredible.
Chris Martin was adorable and humble and funny. Great music, great girls!
We hit Mel's Diner afterward and then I got home about 12:30am
Simon and Penny had both fallen asleep in the car on the way home from scouts that day (like 5:30?) so i put them in their beds hoping/doubting they would sleep til morning. When i got home simon still had his shoes on and penny was still in her dress.
Somewhere around 3 simon woke up and was hungry. at 4 i fell back asleep and slept through the seminary alarm, oops.
Anyway, doug is working so i mostly held it together until night time and then had this moment around 8 where i thought, i'm never going to make it tonight. I can't do this. i am so tired and everyone is making messes faster than i can clean them!!! like a half a gallon of milk on the floor. a gallon that i don't even remember leaving on the counter. It was probably the most panicky i have felt in a while. so freaking hard.
not a good night. trying to recover today.
I'm sure i'm not garnering much sympathy. late night concerts are pretty rad.
plus, looky what jess brought down from Joe's in Canada??
p.s. was finishing dishes and went back into my room to this...

You got tickets to Coldplay?!! I'm so jealous. I tried to get some a couple months ago and they were all sold out.
ReplyDeleteWe bought them on Craigslist for a little less than double what she paid. i guess that could be sktechy but she had the actual tickets and receipt, etc. We paid about the same for great seat as stubhub was selling seats on the BACK row.
