So, awesome Grandma Olson still had the newspaper and magazines from the day John F. Kennedy died.
I know all this information is online but it was really cool to feel the pages, read the text.

Well, happy weekend everybody! I have big plans that involve picking up coldplay tickets for a concert at the hollywood bowl (we bought them on craigslist, genius!) with Jessica and her sister and sister in law. The concert is May 1st and i'm super excited.
Also, we are going to the park and probably trying to hook up owen with friends because a weekend without friends is like a death sentence for that kid. Sophie has her last choir competition which means we are almost to the end of the year. 5 weeks, people!

ReplyDeleteSo in like 4th grade I did a report on JFK and we had been at Grandma's. She let me bring that home to CA and take it into my class. If I remember right they were all super impressed. :)
