Family History Week - Day 4

Did i tell you that my mom and her brother are only 11 months apart?!?!

just coming out of the baby stages with 2 that are 17 months apart, i can tell you that i know that probably sucked!

 haha at least until they got older and then they were best buddies. just like simon and penny

We were laughing at this photo because she looks so dang mad.  like it was crazy trying to get everybody clean and dressed, hair done and out the door and then she had to take a photo but couldn't conjure a smile.
I've been there many times. Ha!

This is a clipping from the Deseret News.  My mom was Martha Washington in the school play so she and George Washington got to get out of class and take this picture for the paper.  that is some impressive 'regarding with awe' she's doing there.

Someone painted this photo for my Grandma and it has hung in the basement bedroom forever.  I totally want that painting someday. although, im not sure why i'd ever get it.  not exactly in the direct line

p.s. today is le franc's birthday.  every april 19 i remember the day i fell down wet steps in our old apartment, knocked my chin on the railing and nearly knocked myself out cold.  I had fat cells hanging out of my chin, had to get stitches to sew them back in and i went to stupid le franc's birthday party that night anyway.  big, country girl hair and open flesh would and all.  


And i can't find the picture??? can't believe I didn't blog that story in 2006, i just checked.
