I'm BACK

I guess i needed a little unnannounced blogging break. It seems impossible to be at the computer at all these days. Anyway, Thanksgiving is behind us and we are onward to Christmas.

Here's a little of what happened while i was gone.

• a hilarious night at a free hotel room in pasadena? Yeah, it was from a friend who booked with citibank points and couldn't cancel or reschedule so they transferred the room to us. it was at the hilton and they booked the handicap room on the second floor. left sophie with the kids from 6 to midnight and had dinner at tokyo wako and watched tower heist at the arclight pasadena. then doug went home to sleep with the babies and i stayed overnight at the hotel by myself and slept in...until 6 am.  then watched 2 hours of Thanksgiving food Network and went home. hahaha.  still good to sortof get away. 
• Thanksgiving with the Swierenga's. it was epic. probably because we had low expectations going in considering we had no mom's helping out.  In the end we discovered that we ARE the mom's now.  The food was so totally yummy.  Doug contributed heavily to the turkey. boy it was moist. 
• Christmas shopping nearly done.
• Christmas card almost done as well
