That is the number of times I buckled Simon and Penny in and out of their car seats today. We went to and from all of the following places.

Sophie's School
Owen's School
DSW (finally found some fall boots)
Beth's House (awesome playdate)
Trader Joe's (love this store, hate their parking lot)
Basketball Practice (apparently they cancelled this without letting us know. So we went to...)
Ikea (and picked up a lamp because we were already up the hill.)
Soccer Practice (we were going to stay and play at the park but it was too dark. )
Soccer pick up

And at 8:48, we rolled up the drive way for the last time. Until we start it all again tomorrow.

Despite all the driving, we did get some good playtime in. These are Simon's favorite toys right now. build it up, kick it over. repeat, repeat, repeat.

This is what Penny wore to Trader Joe's. I decided it was a battle it didnt really care about winning. so she did. it was a hit with fellow shoppers.
That little fat knee peeking out reminds me of the night before my wedding. i had a total meltdown because my knees were fat. hers is adorable. mine...? not so much. haha.

  2. While I appreciate the fat knee melt down, I believe the meltdown over MY poor handwriting is #1 in my book. YOu will love reading this post when you are old and grey.........I predict that you will also feel exhausted when you read this post when you are old and grey.

anyways this is making me tired just reading it. Love that Penny wore that around town. So very cute!

btw... I'm on the lookout for some new boots too. Preferrably brown riding boots. What kind did you get?

  6. Hi Renee! DSW has some great riding boots. some great rich brown ones and they are at all price points too. 40/50 bucks to 200 so you can find whatever fits the budget.

I bought motorcyclish boots in brown so i dont feel so butch when i wear them. haha
