Progress Report

• Yesterday Simon climbed out of his high chair, was walking around the breakfast nook and fell and smashed his face on the table. his little tooth went all the way through his lip. lots of blood, lots of crying and a trip to the dr's office. no stitches needed. teeny tiny teeth don't leave big gaping gouges apparently.
• penny-speak: Mom, fick-a my george! {Mom, i want to watch curious george, will you turn on the TV?}
• Halloween was crazy fun. CJ and Jessica are in town looking at houses again so they stopped by on Sunday to hang out. Ida and Penny are little TWINS! Same hair, same clothes and they got along really well.
• Went to an awesome toluca lake-type street on halloween night with the burtons and their family. the pumpkins and decorations were out of this world. it was super dark and we were constantly head counting all the kids to make sure we hadn't lost anyone. Owen was a little bummed because he only got 4 pieces of candy. haha. 4. it just wasn't that kind of street. good thing we totally scored at the Trunk or treat the night before.
• Got Sophie's progress report in the mail. 4 A+'s, 1 A and an A- (in PE which should be bumped up to an A when she makes up a run). Not Bad, girl.
• doug's feature is proving to be one of the most difficult shoots ever. best looking cinematography to date, best caliber of actors to date, but low budget is low budget. it's just tough. It is an understatement to say we have become soft with commercials. hopefully, he wont have a stroke before the weeks end. cross your fingers everyone.
