sup?

  • Lately Penny has been saying, "Ooopsie-Daisies" and "Stupid Simon" (isn't that so sad?)
  • Music at lunch time is essential. i swear it is the only thing that keeps simon and penny in their seats.
  • simon can climb out of anything. and he has been so sick lately. really lovey and cuddly, dang it.
  • This gorgeous girl was voted "Best Personality" in her 8th grade class. I LOVED this one. Atta girl!
(she is gonna kill me. but seriously, who wouldn't vote for her. i totally would!!)
  • Owen is all about reading the books before seeing the movie. Guardians of Gahoole, How to train your dragon (we are watching this one tonight for the first time. We're probably the only family that hasn't seen it.) He is on to harry potter at school. we went video game free for 2 months and it was so awesome. his reading has increased 10 fold. will probably do it again soon but don't tell Owen that just yet. haha.
  • Penny and i went down to be extras on Doug's film yesterday. we were moms and kids at a place called cafe chez bebe. pretty sweet! Yvonne and Chris went with us. it was meyhem but really fun to see doug and clint work. See their photos here
  • we are the only chamberlain kids that haven't turned in our family scripture story video. i think grandma chamberlain needs to come down and give us a talking to. and make us some chamberladas and maybe spend some quality time with the grandkids.
  • read on beth's blog about audrey singing the glee version of poker face and it reminded me about Penny singing Sean Kingston's "suicidal." kinda morbid but so so funny.

  1. I'm so glad the extra work went well. Get Penny in the movies pronto!!! :) Sad we missed it. Next time for sure, and I'll point to you and say "I know that girl" when I see the film in the theatre.

Sophie totally has the best personality. I'd vote for her for sure. Class President??? I think she needs to run.

My kids have started saying things like "stupid" and "poopy", too. Grrrrrrr.

Finally - we need to play. I will give you a ring over the weekend and see if Audrey and I can invite ourselves over if Simon is feeling better. Or you can even drop Penny off if you want some free time (even though I'd like to see you, too).

  2. Beth, you can totally come over. simon is on anti-biotics and should be great by monday. And we ended up getting 100 bucks for our efforts. haha. not bad, it paid for the babysitter at least. haha

  3. I get it. The last thing the "cinematographer" wants to be doing in his spare time is making movies. I wouldn't be excited about "Family Night & Enemas." I get it.
