Thinco de mayo

We, along with the entire mexican nation, have reason to celebrate. It's big number 15 for us today.

This is what 15 years of marriage looks like. Do i need to be worried? doug doesn't look nearly as happy as I do. In fact, he looks a little PO'd. haha.

We had lunch at Joan's on Third. Highly recommend to the local crowd. we picked out 5 desserts to nibble while we walked around after lunch. The winner being a Fresh Strawberry Cream Puff.

Hit Plastica. Coolest shop in Town! Picked up 2 of these for the kiddos. The Bilibo. isn't that fun to say? great colors, too.

Anyhoo! Hope you're all bathing in salsa this fine festive day. We're waiting for doug and owen to get back from their after school adventure down to Olvera Street. They took the subway with Bart and Baylen. Can't wait to hear how that went....(sshh, soooo glad i didn't go.)

also, funny thing with sophie this afternoon.

mom: Sophie, what does ROFL mean in text?

sophie: oh......um. hang on, i just learned this last week....OH! Rolling on the Floor Laughing.

There you go. Your texting-as-a-second-language lesson for the day.
