Easter -- I'm still catching up here!

Had to put this cute easter-y pic up top because we don't have one single photo of the kids with their baskets or dying eggs or on an egg hunt or anything. we did most of those things (i think), just no pics. Totally my fault. i was sort of lame with easter this year. The bikes stole easter's thunder, i guess.

Anyway, every Easter we do dinner with the same 5 or 6 families and we've been doing it since we all moved out here from byu 9 years ago. This year it was just 3 of us but it was a blast. we packed up our goodies and headed to a park in pasadena. it was really fun to see everyone, catch up, nosh on some great food and play at a park.

I Debated on whether or not to add this one, seeing as i look like a doof, but it was too good. Basically, i fell flat on my butt out of that swing. my little white pants and shoes were a bit slippery on the wood chips and rubber swing. (couldn't get rid of the underline. awesome...)

The kid next to owen is some random kid he met on the playground. I love that nobody kicked him out. classic!

oh look! just found an Easter pic after all. this was FHE with a cute lady from our ward. Simon looks like he's praying to the god of sugary confections. Boy after my own heart.
