spring break

And an update on the shopping hiatus...i went ahead a bought stuff for penny's party(like i planned), but i've got to say, i kinda felt dirty doing it. So, i'm back on track. only 6 weeks to go!

The party was great. We had friends, balloons, cupcakes and 2 cozy coupes that EVERYONE loved. Last minute I picked up our friends' car and I'm glad I did. That thing is a big hit with the 2+ crowd.

Penny ate lunch in it yesterday.

oh, speaking of Simon... he is mobile. well, mobile-ish. the last few weeks he's figured out how to army crawl. Basically, just scooting around but he can turn corners and pull up on baskets to grab toys out. more than once that basket has fallen over and spilled out on top of him. he doesn't like that so much.

His bottom teeth now have 2 friends up top. one popped through a few days ago and the other is coming fast. That's like 4 teeth in 2 weeks or something. crazy!

And Sophie learned how to make AMAZING chicken last night. She was dying over how delicious it was. She is definitely the cook in the Fam.

lastly, it is our spring break so we've been playing at the park, making plans for the zoo on wed, beach on thurs and who knows what on Friday. Got to take advantage of this 80 degree weather. (like its going anywhere. i think our cold-ish season is officially over.)
