after midnight post

Tonight, doug and i made caramel popcorn and ate the whole entire bowl.  like the big bowl.  we tried to watch a movie but it wouldn't stream so we watched 'the middle' until sophie came home with 3 friends and taco bell after the stake dance.  Allie, Aki, Saul and Sophie. good kids.  glad they have each other.

Penny and Simon were so crazy tonight so i put them down super early.  we went to a storybook theater birthday party today and it was fun.  local peeps, it's just 3 bucks! super cheesy but so perfect for kids.  it's goldilocks and the 3 bears until june.  it'll be something else after that. :) After intermission penny was really looking at goldilocks and said, Mom, is she wearing a WIG??

and yes, she was wearing a wig and she actually had a crazy good voice (it was a musical) and i can't figure out why she is at this teeny tiny theater.  although there is a LOT of talent not working right now so i guess she's probably happy to have a job.  anyway simon was serious about getting autographs from teddy bear and the others.  penny had to meet goldilocks because she was beautiful and had beautiful shoes.

this is from sarah heders bday.  we went sledding on a mountain that literally had no snow.  we went all the way up the mountain to a tiny patch of melting man made snow.  it was so sad.  the workers were so depressed and said its been the worst year on record. still such a BLAST!  good ladies.

OH and Doug had another birthday.  super low key, he went to the movies with boys at night, we went out on the weekend, i ordered donuts from DONUT SNOB. they were crazy good and delivered right to our door.

great fun on the hallway wall.  ironically, our streaming on TV isn't as good since we put up the big metal plate on the wall. 

Doug and I went to parent lunch day at the middle school with owen.  it's was seriously so funny.  it was so crazy loud in the 6th grade area and we sat on the cement next to a garbage and listened to him talk with 4 of the funniest dudes. all video game chat all the time.

pics from our date night.  we were supposed to go with friends from preschool but their family got sick last minute but since we already had a babysitter we went anyway.  it was perfect actually because after the movie we went to a place called Din Tai Fung and there was an hour and a half wait.  then the manager said, do we have any other 2 tops waiting?? OH NO?! well follow me to a table waiting just for you. we sat right down, ate delicious dumplings and left before most of those people moved anywhere. it was great. then we went shopping and tried on stuff but only bought socks. 

it's been nice to have doug around.  it's rare he's in so many photos. :)
