oh, life

You know how sometimes life just seems so supremely unfair??  I've had one of those weeks where you become aware of big trials in people's lives.  It's been a sad and unsettling week.  although one of my personal challenges seemed to find resolution this week right as challenges for a friend of mine were ramping up.

Sophie had a bizarre and difficult week as well.  crazy times.  my sister, kelly, said it best.  "Seems like life on steroids!"

I know all of this sounds cryptic but i'm very grateful that general conference is this weekend.  Looking forward to listening to the prophet and other leaders.  There will be many who find comfort in their words. (me included)

Of course, Pinterest, has a zillion ideas for keeping kids engaged and busy during conference. Hopefully some of these actually work! :)
