Fab 5

1. Legos - Barnyard, Zoo and the box of people!  This is the first real toy i've ever bought for Simon and he loves it.

2. Beach - way overdo.  breezy, calm, salty and fun.

3. Friends - Mendi and her girls came today for a big, fun day.  it involved of playing, eating and lots of lots of talking.  We all LOVED it.  Simon and Penny sighed and said, "i love that families" when they left.  Come again, soon!  (i have not one photo! my phone played dead for the majority of our day.)

4. To do lists - Been crossing of crap off my lists like crazy.  I've spent the past week decluttering and cleaning the kids rooms.  I am totally inspired by this from Oh Happy Day.  I believe it whole-heartedly.  my garage tells me I don't really know how to live it but at least I'm trying.

5. Job Charts - they go up tomorrow.  we all need this, can't wait!


up next?.... lots and lots of cousins!! Kaylene her kids are coming for 10 days.  It's GO time!


p.s. when simon wants you to fill up his cup higher he says, "morder, morder!  Or when he wants more of something in his bowl, he tells me. "Three. i want three."  this stemming from a day i was scooping ice cream and he wanted three scoops in his bowl.

Owen dug a huge hole for himself then covered up with the blanket.  looked like a trap. you couldn't really see anything under there but his feet gave it away. 

is doug a racing junkie?  yes.

is Jamie B a racing junkie now, too?  yes

Do doug and owen now have racing memberships? yes.

Have I been like three times and now my tailbone really hurts? yes.  

Should i not admit that because I'm taking the girls there on saturday to celebrate my birthday? YES

(how hilarious will that be?  me, brooke, amber, beth. on the track all by ourselves.)
