3 days ago I didn't know who he was but thanks to our sweet birthday event on monday, i got to hear him sing. I liked Juliet and Tony Lucca, but i also didn't vote soooooo i guess it really doesn't matter what i think.
The show was so much fun. It was at the WB on a stage so it was small! We were behind the judges on the last row but everything was so close it didn't matter, we were like 7 rows from the stage.
when we got there i said, oh LOOK it's Carson Daly. sophie had no idea who that was but apparently he is the HOST. makes sense he was there. haha.
Sophie loves CeeLo Green (who doesn't? that guy is hilarious) so that was fun and then the top show choir from her school performed with Chris Mann so she was excited to see them.
We heard Justin Bieber was going to be there but NOPE that was last night for the finale. Actually, i thought our tickets were for the finale but it was the finals instead.
It really was fun, definitely not worth $1000 (which was the original bid price at the fundraiser and i got them for much, much cheaper.)
Then we had dinner at Poquito Mas and headed home. super fun night with my girl.
Oh, and walking through the studios we saw the 'suburgatory' office. I LOVE that show. Cheryl Hines is SO funny. if you haven't seen it, check it out on hulu.
And then last night i got an early Mothers' Day card from Owen. They made light catchers at scouts and wrote cards to all their mamas.
Not just cards, actually, they wrote LIMERICKS!!! I love me a good limerick

Emily, I watch The Voice and I actually thought Jermaine was going to come in fourth place. I was shocked when he won! I was rooting for Juliette Simms (I think that's how you spell her name). If I could have someone's voice, I would choose hers. I love a good rock, raspy voice. Anyway, how fun that you got to go there in person!
