2 Recipes - Clean Edition

Because i do everything in extremes (as evidenced by the boys hair and a million other things i can't think of right now) this week i started a 2 week no sugar challenge. This is in direct response to the halloween glut of yester-weeks and the persistent fatigue that accompanies my bad diet.

Stumbled upon the no-sugar challenge on The Gracious Pantry and then went and searched for clean recipes to try on other clean eating blogs.  Two fun ones:

Clean Eating Mama and Sweet Potato Chronicles. very cute sites.

So, for today I am posting 2 super healthy clean eating soups!

Made this one on Monday and it is yum!  Yum in the healthy-food kind of way.  Not everyone ate it but sophie and i loved it, even had the left overs this week. Doug tolerated it and owen ate 7 small bites and the sick babies ate candy probably.

Can't deny that it feels good to eat healthy.

And a creamy one from Veggie 101

p.s. The gracious Pantry has 2 week no sugar menu plans.  i printed and posted not because i will follow exactly, but it's nice to have ideas to jog my brain

Anyway, Grandma Chamberlain is about 3 hrs away. yay!!! We are going to have a great weekend after all.  Even though poor Simon just pooped in the bathtub.  we won't tell grandma about that...its in her bathroom.  Well, off to get the bleach!
