maintenance

When Sophie was begging me to shave her legs in 5th grade (i made her wait until 6th) i told her once you start you can NEVER STOP. i guess you can but it's pretty scary. But that is the case with all things beauty, once you start you can't stop.

So, today is maintenance day for me. Simon and I are going up to the mall to get my eyebrows threaded. I am so incredibly bushy right now, I kinda feel like i have a man's mustache. it's pretty wicked. But threading is much cheaper than waxing and I like cheap. 16 bucks for eyebrow and lip. 16?? nothing in beauty is 16 bucks. I read yesterday in Lucky that a good eye brow can erase 5 years from a womans face. Talk about bang for your buck! hahaha.

And then at 1:00 I have a hair appointment! wahoo!! I love my girl. she gives me 20 % off for every referral and I send people her way all the time. I think my color is free today.

We could couldn't find any clean penny underwear anywhere this morning. No where. So we had to call the school and tell them we could come to school but only after a trip to target to buy a pack of underwear. That perfectly describes where I am today. It's a no clean underwear day. I think i should throw in a pedicure and a facial to my maintenance package. Oh and a nap.
