Ok people! Both Lyndsay and Beth are true product masters, but i just read about 2 little items in lucky magazine that have me kinda excited.

I usually use powder foundation but sometimes, maybe for special occasions, i want a bit more coverage. Liquid always seems too cakey and even though everyone LOVES the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, it felt too heavy on my skin, so i returned it.

Enter the Josie Maran Argan Matchmaker Serum foundation. Its a SERUM!! So, while penny and i were in Sephora on my Bday, i tested it out. it goes on white and then matches the pigment to your skin. it is WICKED. no lines or thickness, it's 42 bucks so i didn't splurge yet but i will sometime soon, for sure! very excited.

And second, I have the tremendous blessing (read:curse)of being a very one colored person. light hair, light eyes, light eyebrows, light lips. Everything is the same color with zero contrast. which is why im always dying by eyebrows crazy dark colors and end up looking a little groucho. hahaha

Anyway, i'm also not a huge lipstick person and i've always want a lip STAIN that just gives me a natural lip color. Stainiac and benefit both are too pinky/purpley and sometimes sticky. but then Lucky wrote about the Revlon Just bitten lipstain + balm. They called it a lip marker and that's exactly what it is. it sort of infuses color instead of laying on top of your lip. i love it.

i bought it in Lust at CVS for 10 bucks. it's much brownier than this pinky photo. totally want to buy every other color just to see what i like.

We are off to do something today. can't remember what. i have about 400 little tasks nagging at my brain but penny is currently sobbing at my feet because owen and baylen wont let her play with them so it makes it hard to remember my todo list. now she's just crying and crying saying, "i can't jump on the trampoline cuz im missing daaaaaaddddy!" o boy.

we just dropped sophie at the mall so she could find costume stuff for her performances tomorrow. this is for choir camp at high school. she goes everyday from 1:30-5:00 and it ends on Friday! and i think our summer can begin, now? 5:45 volleyball is still there but at least we have the rest of the day.

This morning simon was a the table eating cereal saying..."cereal, where aaaaare you? Cereal. What you doing??"

also, yesterday i brought like 10 bags of groceries to the door (which was locked) and sophie was in the back and couldn't hear me knocking. so i rang the door bell and after a minute i hear simon say "coming." haha it was so cute.

I am way behind on laundry so maybe a little of that. just bought tickets this morning to see winnie the pooh tomorrow with beth and amber. That's going to be fun.

And i guess thats it! we've got 6 days left.
