We made it to the end of this week. It really was a doozey. Not because of the bday but because all the kids had things going on this week that required multiple pick-ups/drop offs. I know this week was nuts for a lot of people....what is happening in the world...for reals?
here's a low down, not that anyone really cares but i just wanted to document.
5;45 am - sophie drop off volleyball
8:00 am - sophie pick up volleyball
8:30 am - owen drop off cub camp
9:00 am - penny drop off (20 min in the opposite direction)
12:00 pm - penny pick up preschool
1:30 pm - sophie drop off choir camp
3:45 pm - owen pickup cub camp
5:00 pm - sophie pickup choir camp
Every single day. with lunches for both owen and penny and a volunteer day at cub camp all day tuesday. Volleyball games on Wednesday night til 9pm. plus, Doug and I put all the kids to sleep and went to a late movie on Wednesday night for a final bday hurrah. a 10:40! we also hit cafe 101 afterward for a little brownie waffle sundae and got home about 1:30am. We totally sabbotaged ourselves, i know. but it was fun and we needed it.
Also, Penny and i went to sephora while we were waiting to pick up owen one day. it was hilarious! she was really into it. greens, blues, pinks... you name it, she wanted it on her face. love this girly. (with her orphan hair and all.)
And then about noon today doug headed to the airport. He is flying to Italy for 3 weeks to shoot a feature. I'm sure he will have awesome pics. Hope it is an incredible journey for him.
In the meantime, we will be here. I'm conjuring up plans right now... goals to accomplish while he is away.
1. organize paperwork
2. eat better
3. sell stuff. we have way too much stuff. time to get rid.
who knows what i'll be able to attack here but might as well make it a family thing and see what we can do.
As he was leaving.
waiting for take off
wish me luck!
Ciao!!
