DETOX!

Overload!! After tonight's dinner from IN N OUT, I have hit my limit of cheeseburgers, tacos, chipotle (well, maybe not chipotle) but baskin robbins, TGI Fridays ...you name it, i ate it, im pretty positive.

I sort of ate my way through the last three weeks.

And now i feel like crap! surprise, surprise. i'm sick and sluggish and puffy. plus, i ripped a pair of jeans as i was squating to stretch them out the other day. hahahaha.

and doug comes home in a day. HA! welcome home, dougy!!

SOOOOOOO, tomorrow i detox. clean foods, no fast food, no soda (can i do that?) for 30 days.

i have outgrown my pants and but since you never grow out of shoes , i picked up a pair of bright yellow mary jane wedges for 10 bucks at crossroads to get me throught the next 30 days. (i don't even really know what that means. lame segue to the shoes.)


but they make me happy. more happy than junk food (probably not), wish me luck. it is still summer so i may fail, who knows.

oh, i already have one exeption day, that would be beach day with the abels.

but that's it. and i mean it! (anybody want a peanut?)

p.s. penny told me today that she "doesn't like curious george (2) anymore. it's for babies!"

    I adore yellow shoes. I would own multiple pairs if I could. They are a surprising neutral. As is red. Go bright colors!

  2. Love the shoes. And good luck on the detox. I decided after the pregnancy I'm going on a raw food diet (say 80% of the time for a month). It's kinda like a science experiment - probably won't start eating that way for reals, but still and interesting concept. Maybe you can throw in a couple days like that and see if it really makes you feel better. Hmmmm. Good luck!

  4. I have a good magazine with a week or two of meals w/ a raw food diet. It was Whole Living. I think you can google them and go to their website and find it. Or I can copy the pages for you. It's what inspired me to try it.
