What the... It's 8:05 and my whole house is still asleep? Except for simon, of course. We have been up since 6:30. He watched Yo Gabba while i did a little Tracy Anderson and now he is playing in the minivan while i sit outside and blog surf. He loves the car. pushing all those buttons that make my car go crazy when i turn it on. hazard lights, windsheild wipers, blinkers, you name it...he pushes it. I can see his little head popping up in the front seats and then he climbs to the back and does all the carseat buckles. what a fun activity. haha.

Funny sidenote about Simon. Someone commented not too long ago on how independent simon is. He cruises around and kinda takes care of himself. Which is totally true! If he needs something he tries to get it himself by moving stools and then comes and gets me if it's too hard. and by coming to get me i mean pulling really hard on the hem of my shirt until i follow.

The other day simon came in eating something wierd looking. like a super super old sandwich crust. so i said, "Oh simon, that's yucky. are you hungry? let's get you something yummy!" When i took it from him, he went directly over to the garbage can and stuck his little arm in and started fishing aorund for something else to eat!!! hahahaha! So gross! but it was his height and it had food in it! haha. oh boy.

OH YEAH! it is June 1st today. Happy June everyone. Crap. that means owens birthday is in 5 days. Better start planning.

Speaking of Owen, doug sent this to me yesterday. Owen has been learning how to skateboard. it's pretty cute. This was the first week at the skatepark.
