If any of you are like me and HATE to plan food, i give you relishrelish.com.
it's like six o clock scramble (i've used that on and off for the past year) but the recipes are a little more basic and the site is a tad easier to navigate.
I just bought a 3 mo subscription so i'll let you know how it goes.
On my list for this week?
Goat Cheese Souffle
Veggie monte cristo
shredded beef burritos and
roasted chicken
I really like their This and That category Special menus for Dinner and a Movie. What a fun Date at home idea. (haha, like that's possible at our house.) Well, it's a lovely thought. some of the movies: On second glance they are a bunch of kid movies. Now, THAT i can do.

i have never tried one of those or done menu planning. ...part of me might be nervous that there was this really obvious answer right in front of me :) but you're family eats better stuff than me, love that sophie and her exotic taste buds, sounds delicious.
ReplyDeleteI use the scramble every once in a while, too. One of the go-to recipes I now use is from there (black bean and mango salad/burritos). I will check this one out, too. Do you think this site has the more basic recipes??? Relish looks a little fancier. Oh and I liked their "freezer meals" section.
ReplyDeleteI feel like the scramble is trying to "create interesting" meals. but on this one it's like roast chicken, veggies and potatoes. i can always use recipes for stuff like that and then the biggest thing for me is that it assembles the shopping list. i'm terrible at that.
ReplyDeleteand brooke, if you want to try it out, i can give you my password. haha
