Oh my goodness, What a week! And I'm finally getting around to posting the photos.
On Sunday morning the kids and i hauled tail out of california down to the hot desert in Arizona. My sister and brother (who had spring break last week as well) both live near Phoenix so we got to see lots of cousins. Here is a run down of the highlights.
- tons of swimming- like, everyday swimming.
- night swimming - which is a tradition when we go to Kelly's house.
- movie nights every night.
- a last minute visit with the Means family (good friends from the old encino ward.)
- St. Patricks day festivities including mint oreo malts and a visit from the "Netflix Leprechauns."
- A Fun Filled Day of swimming, playing, eating with Adams family in that ended in near disaster as we found all the little babies had gotten into some very pink lipstick and thought it would be a good idea to smear on faces, hands and the carpet. UGH! Luckily, it all ended well as Adam and Kelly scrubbed the floor and i cleaned up dinner in the ktichen. Penny tried her hardest to help everybody out by lying on the floor screaming until i just packed her up and hauled the two babies back to kelly's to bed.
- Chipote and a trip to target (which was HILARIOUS with 8 active kids in tow. And by hilarious I, of course, mean super stressful.)
- Sophie slept over with Max and Sam and ella. She went to YW/YM with Max and had an absolute blast. They did a photo scavenger hunt and kids lived all up and down the block so it make it easy and fun and had TONS of kids to hang out with
- otter pops, nerf guns, big bucket trains, stories, popcorn (5 bags in one night?!) the pocket park. Oh, the list goes on.
- A big thanks to Kelly and Mequell!
