Such a busy day. (please note the sarcasm)

Today I....

• made a vat of this. It's the best Salsa on the planet, curtesy of Good Eats. (delicious food blog from my high school BFF's sisters. holla!

• and ate it with a bag of Blue Corn Tortilla Chips with Sea Salt from Fresh and Easy. Seriously, the whole bag. I even put the tail-ender crumbles into a bowl, topped it with that and ate it like chips and salsa cereal. This salsa is that good! I want to bathe in it. (AND IT'S EASY...you know i wouldn't have anything to do with it if it was hard, so there you go. Happy Cinco de Mayo.)

• Noticed that Simon doesn't really like baby food any more. With his 8 teeth he wants to chew! last night i gave him chicken smothered with herbs and he loved it. Today, i put out mixed frozen veggies and he picked out all the carrots. left the other stuff. funny baby!

• Ignored the laundry

• Let the dishes pile up

• Let Penny, Ezra and Wyatt use real water in the play kitchen which resulted in a big soppy mess down my hallway.

• Watched the rest of thursday night TV while the babies slept.

• Fell in love with Jamie Oliver like the rest of america. downloaded his food app for my iphone. love it.

• Got an invite to the Chamberlain family reunion this summer. It's a super hero reunion, everyone has to come with a super identity. I think we'll actually get to go this summer so we need to start planning. Get this, Grandma Chamberlain will be "Super Pro-Creator" hahahahahah. that's the BEST! i love it. Send me your super hero ideas. i'm gonna need it.

• dreamed about our 48 hour anniversary fest at the end of may. me+doug+palm springs = another new baby. JUST KIDDING. there will be no new babies, but there will be lots and lots of sleeping, by myself sleeping. like, snoozing sleeping. Like, it will be my first full nights sleep in 2 years. 2 YEARS!! oh, i can't wait. {i am so tired.}
