Well, well. It's monday. We had a great weekend with my parents who came down from vegas.

it was rainy, then beautiful, then rainy. We went up to Owen's swim lesson in pasadena on saturday and were caught in a DOWNPOUR while owen was in the water. They say swim lesson go rain or shine, now i know better.
They snuggled babies and made yummy food. My dad went and got the traditional Dad's Rootbeer for the best caramel popcorn in the world. Owen calls it sticky popcorn. If you've never had it, let me know. i'll send you the recipe. it is sooooo good.

Rainy night. they went in search of a hot air popper. {mine finally kicked it after 14 years}
after 3 stores they came home empty handed.
My mom's gonna hate this pic, what being so close up and all. (i have a strict B/W rule at this range) BUT, i think she looks lovely and if i had turned it black and white you wouldn't be able to see that they have almost the exact same color eyes!
Also, It's birthday week, here at the Chamberlains. Penny turns 2 on Friday so I'm getting into party mode. A DIY kind of mode considering the hiatus, although, these may have to be an exception.

ReplyDeleteI have like a gazillion little paper umbrellas (on toothpicks). So if you feel the need to use them for anything creative, they're yours! I also have these cute over-sized "tags" that would make an awesome banner strung on ribbon or string. Just let me know! I've got crafty stuff galore just begging to get used. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to feel bad that I didn't throw a party for Finn this January. He's been to 4 in the last 3 months, and I think he's caught on that he was jipped. Whoops! And I am not throwing one for Maya's first, either. Slacker Mom alert!! You're better than me. :)
