So, is everyone else ready for a fresh new start? It's January 1, 2010!! We made it home last night in time to watch about an hour of the Billboard show in Vegas before the ball dropped. Sophie and i were watching it and all i can say is Carmen Electra is a skank. i know, what a shock. But she was embarrassing herself all night, seriously! She said her new years resolution was to wear more clothes.

Owen made my whole year last night. While we were flying home, my user name for the in flight i chat was 'supermom'. i always choose that even when it's not true, just drill it in to the kids memory. ha ha.

Anyway, i was supermom on the flight and when we were at the baggage claim, doug went to get the car seats and left us to watch the luggage. in the 3 minutes that he was gone, both babies had super stinky diapers and needed to be changed. So i changed them right there on the bench by baggage B. Penny was just super soggy, i guess, because i changed her while she was standing up and without even pulling down her pants. sweet! But simon was stinky, so i changed him really fast and then doug was back and hurrying out to meet the car and everyone was following.

So, i picked up Simon, 3 blankets, the rolling duffel of christmas and tossed one diaper into a nearby garbage can. I quickly ran back for the second diaper and shot it like a basketball and made it into the can. Owen was with me and said...... (drum roll, please......)

"Wow, you really are a supermom! Even though you do crazy things sometimes, you are a supermom."

Oh, sweet owen. The brain washing is working. And you are my favorite today.....just don't tell any of the other kids.
