Month by Month

I love this idea!

Making it lovely is a pretty sweet blog that i have been following for a while. Every month she takes a picture of her baby in the same place with a pin (which could totally be a piece of paper with a number on it) indicating the number of months old. It can just be a simple snapshot or something more elaborate, but you get to see your baby grow. And with a tail-ender baby you can to see all the other kids grow too.

Sophie might not change that much month by month, but definitely over 2 years! Has anyone seen what 8th graders look like these days? whoa.

Anyway, with so many of our friends having babies right now, i thought i'd throw this idea out there. It's a good one.

  1. I have a friend who does this but with a teddy bear. It's very cute. The first month the bear was bigger than the baby, but after a year, not so much... Very cute.

  2. Jared's cousin is doing this as well with her 2 month old. She does it with a teddy bear too. Cute idea!

  3. I meant to do this with my belly, but it didn't really happen. It turns out that the last thing you want to do after leaning over the toilet all morning (for 6 months!) is pose for a picture. Maybe next time around.
