oh what a day.

Wednesday we had a family party after school and invited two cutie pie girls (gabriela and lizzie) from school and had just a big ole play date with pizza, water trampoline and cake.  super duper low key and pretty awesome.  she wanted a FROZEN party, of course, but there are NO FROZEN decorations or toys or anything anywhere right now. i went to a bunch of stores and the sales folks laughed at me. apparently it's more popular than anything every made ever.

so i went to baskin robbins and got an ice cream cake with the edible picture on it and we just took jpeg off google and put it in the center of the cake.  genius! total hit.

Ezra is always an awesome addition because he is a total ham for the girls and they giggle at all the dumb stuff he does.  

Everyone got in their swim suits for the water trampoline but simon decided he'd rather have the wetsuit ( i got 2 at a yard sale for $1 each. ) PERFECT for the beach...and the water trampoline

So this little series of sophie pictures have a story.  we were all singing the frozen songs and this is the process of sophie singing "open up the GAAAAAATTTTTEEEEEESSSSSSSS!" with a little key change higher at the end.  you'll know it when you see it.

Who knows why she documented it like that is beyond me but we laughed and laughed and laughed at the head tilt at the end.  oh that girl.

Doug was in Phoenix this weekend so i got a babysitter on Saturday for the sole purpose of having someone else put the little kids to bed.  i was over it. then i took myself to the movies.
