beach and stuff

We had such a great beach day with Johnsons and Swierengas.  Rachel, Robyn and I all went in at the end and boogie boarded, something I haven't done in YEARS, people.  That's the kind of crazy stuff you get to do when your baby turns three :)

Before we went home, we  ate at La Piñata in Hermosa.  If you know Bart and Robyn, you know that yummy mexican is only about a block away from any Johnson party.

Yes, i'm shrouded in a hat, glasses and sweatshirt. hahaha

It was a perfect day.  Now i want to move to Manhattan Beach. 

And now for the STUFF.....The other day we were listening to our primary CD (getting ready for the sacrament program and all) and she was singing the Baptism song.  The lyrics to the second verse says, "I know when i am baptized, my wrongs are washed away."

After she sang that part so got really nervous and said she didn't want to get baptized.  So i asked her why not??

She said she didn't want her ARMS to wash away!  Oh and she was very serious about it.  Very worried she might not have her arms if she were to get baptized.  We had a little chat and i think she feels better now, but that is so priceless.  

I found this on an ETSY shop that seems perfect for her.  Going to order tonight.  Actually, my paypal is in french so i can't order until someone who speaks french can help me change it back to english. ha.
