blog killer

I remember when twitter exploded and everyone said that it was a blog killer.

I'm here to say for me it's not twitter, it's freaking instagram in all it's awesomeness. If you're on there come find me at ebchamberlain and I'll follow you back! 

But the blog reigns supreme when I need a photo dump AND to record the last 2 weeks of summer.

so here goes, 

there are seriously like 50 pics blown up all obnoxious so you can jump ship now and I would never know!!

first up... birthday celebration with the encino girls.  Yes, of course I took them go karting like a giant nerd.  we reserved the track for just the 5 of us and it was so fun!  I beat my fastest time and slammed into beth and brooke so hard trying to get past them, i doubt they'll race with me again. haha.

And Kaylene got to come along, too!  She drove in from Arizona about an hour before we left so sophie and her friend watched ALL 8 kids for us so kaylene could come. I loved it.  She was here on my birthday 5 years ago when we went out to celebrate 32. (32!! oh how i miss you, 32)  Remember Brooke's seriously wounded eye?? She came anyway.  I love those ladies. 

We went to The Counter after and if I only eat their sweet potato fries the rest of my life, I'd be a happy girl.  They even surpassed the rosemary parm fries and I didn't think that was possible.  

AND THEN THE COUSINS!!

we went to travel town, the zoo, the school yard almost every night to play, the beach, pinkberry, kat's house to swim, a 4th of july at the beach and a BBQ with the Johnsons.  we had so much fun playing and eating, fighting, laughing, watching movies, etc etc etc. 

They were here for 10 days and it was awesome.  Although, food for 9 kids is pretty insane. especially when you have a

kaylene watched our kids so doug and i could do a date night on my actual birthday. Katsuya   and the movies.

This is from a temple trip with the Mccoys!  We went on a monday when it was closed so the kids could walk around and enjoy the grounds
