little mice

wow.  not sure what happened to yesterday, it was kind of a blur.  i have been up too late lately.  once with doug to watch a screener of the ITALY movie and it's just beautiful.  it was fun to comb through it and give notes.  they are in the final editing stages for festival deadlines.  seems like despite all the drama they are pulling something really great together.

We had to pause when the big kids came in to say good night and of course they came in RIGHT before they two main characters first kiss so we pause on this big close up shot of two head with lips about 2 inches apart.

We said, whooops, it's kind of a lovey scene sorry!

Sophie just rolled her eyes or something and then owen kind of walked passed and then came back and said, is this a romance movie?  cuz if it is, i think i have a title for you.  (they are on the hunt for a good one.)

"What about Italy Blossom or something like that?"

Actually i can't remember the names but it was hilarious.  he was very serious about it. I'll have to ask him when he gets home today.  i love that boy.

p.s. this cutie is Jamie Blackley and he is so good in this movie.  He has an impeccable American accent (he's british!) and he saved the trip for doug in a lot of ways.  they were buds and jumped off cliffs together everyday. Put him on you RADAR. he's rad. 

Anyway,  it's a-raining today!  and it feels amazing.   Definitely a day for chili, i'd say.

Haven't put up the halloween stuff yet.  Not that i have a whole lot of halloween stuff but today would be the perfect day for it.

I know design mom has a whole bunch of DIY halloween ideas.  I just may need to go peruse some of those and make this place feel festive.
