out of titles

I think I will start a new series on my blog titled The misadventures of Owen and his clothes. On sunday night, i went to tuck him in and found him laying in his bed wearing jeans and his long-sleeve white church shirt buttoned all the way to the top. This isn't the first time, actually. the last time he was in a short sleeve shirt and wore it the next day, too. This time i just had to make him change, it looked so totally uncomfortable.

We had a good weekend, though. late for 1:00pm church (not sure why i can't pull that one together, it's 1pm!) and when i finished getting ready, i walked out of the bathroom and owen immediately asked me if i was having a bad hair day. hahaha. well, i didn't really think so until just now! haha.

Yesterday the encino girls met up again to see Renee who drove in from Utah. holy cow there were alot of kids! 22, i think (i overcounted by 1 before)

i stayed until about 4 and it was awesome.

they look angelic here, but these are two spicy girls. they're RAD!

This is about everybody! minus baby carter who was sleeping at home

we didn't even move our brownie bites and donuts out of the way! we totally know how to party. wait, this is without brooke. somebody have one with brooke? and maybe an in focus jackie? owen was our photog. sweet!

we are missing doug like crazy. we only get to talk to him about every 3 days. the internet and therefore skype is pretty sketchy it seems. so i hope he's doing ok?!?! Penny has been sleeping with a family picture because she wants to have daddy close by. She hugs it to her chest or carries it around like a lovey but gets all mad when its bumpy or bent.

She's also starting to ask to go to bed around 7:30. i can usually make it happen by almost 8 so both babies are down again by 8-8:30 again! hallelujah, especially because sophie wakes me up at 5:10 to braid her bangs into a mermaid braid for volleyball. this morning i couldn't make by brain and eyes work well enough to make it happen. it's a pony tail day.

on our way to the zoo with yvonne today. its cool outside so it should be a good zoo day!
