randomness

So, i'm flying solo again. This time it's NYC for another low budget feature. I think he should be back sometime in January. Just kidding... i think.

On the do list when he gets home for Thanksgiving.

• Family photo for the family calendar. (I promise it's coming, Karin)
• book of mormon video for grandma chamberlain (I promise it's coming, Grandma)
• christmas card? ya right. probably not this year
• Party with Carter and Erin and family/Kelly and Dave and family/Grandma Terrie and Grandpa Charlie (plus 3 missionaries) for Thanksgiving dinner. (22 Total!! this will be so fun.)
• Yo Gabba Gabba live on Friday night. That should be a dream come true for miss penny.
• Probably hit the beach sometime over the long weekend. most of the time it is nicer Thanksgiving day your average day in the summer. we will see about this year. (we used to go build sand snowmen at manhattan beach on Thanksgiving. i like that tradition. i think it got in the way of the actual dinner and so we stopped. maybe we should rethink that one.)

I was out picking up stuff for this week and was wishing i was buying Christmas stuff, not Thanksgiving! So glad my family is coming in town to make it all worth it. i dont have a great track history of pulling off thanksgiving with just our little family. So to everyone coming... my children thank you.

p.s i wish ikea would do red and green christmas. Red and Blue just doesnt do it for me, but i do love all their decor. oh, ikea!
