Last night I crashed at 8. i put simon down and left doug to deal with everything else. he has been in pre production on a feature film for the past three weeks and it has been 100% mom all day and all night long around here. I was just done... so i crashed. And then sophie woke up coughing at 1:30 and then i couldn't go back to sleep (i never can) so i was up for three hours, surfed the web, moved some furniture around in the living room and finally got back to sleep.
Then I had a really crazy dream that woke me up straight out of it just an hour later and just in time for penny to wake up and want to come into my bed at 6:15.

But the feature--very exciting, yes. except for the fact that it takes so much work to make them happen. especially LOW BUDGET features. And this one is low budget. But it is also with a great first time director, Kat Coiro, and stars these three lovely ladies.
(Do any of you know my high school bff, Mendi? doesn't this girl look JUST like her?!)
And its a really funny script. So what do you do when something like that comes along? You gotta take it. Even though i am already getting my butt kicked and they haven't even started shooting yet. First day is tomorrow.

I wish you TONS of luck, Emily! I crashed the other night at 9pm. I was sitting in front of the computer and I just couldn't keep my eyes open. I thought, "Why am I sitting here torturing myself? Just go to bed." So, I did. But the funny thing was that I was still so tired when I woke up at 6 something in the morning. I told Dan I'm always tired. I think it's a combo of being a Mom and my age and not working out (yes, I know, I need to do the Tracy Anderson DVD). Anyway, I think you're a pretty tough cookie!!!
ReplyDeleteUm...yeah, I do not think she looks like me, but she's cute, so I'll take the compliment! This random girl at the mall asked me if I was having twins because I had the biggest stomach she had ever seen, so I will gladly accept the positive comment. FYI: delivery has been scheduled for Nov 1. I'll make sure Braiden has you on his who to contact list.

ReplyDeleteSarah- do the tracy anderson video!! or she has little work outs on youtube so you can just do little sections instead of the whole she-bang. i haven't done it since i gave it to you so maybe we can do it together!
