A little text and a mega barrage of photos...
my sister, jami, came down with her family and stayed with us for the last 10 days leading up to the first day of school. it was the PERFECT way to end the summer.
we went to the beach twice, the santa monica pier, Olvera Street for yummy taquitos, Disneyland, school shopping at the americana for everyone, hollywood sign, WB tour...we ate, played and had so much fun.
The morning schools started i dropped Sophie off at 8am, Owen at 8:30 and jami, brett and family at the airport at 8:45am. it was a whirlwind.
when we got home the babies were cranky ALL DAY long. they lost all their playmates in one fell swoop. we definitely missed them!
i would caption all of these suckers but the text in between my photos keeps creating a link... to no where, of course. Anyone know how to fix that? I am a RUSTY blogger!

ReplyDeleteI just love that the sunglasses Sophie and her cousin are wearing are the exact same ones that I wore when I was her age. They're cool again!!! Now I don't have to flinch when I look back at the 80s.
