Today is our last day of school. I'm so, so happy.

We all stayed up to watch the American Idol finale... yay Lee? I was totally behind Crystal from the beginning but his 'hallelujah' was pretty great. so, ok. go lee.

Anyway, we were all up late and then simon was up twice and the last time i looked at the clock it was 4:15am. Cut to 6:30 and doug was still in bed. not good. He's NEVER late to set, did i turn off his alarm without remembering?? Not sure if he was late today, i really hope not.

but then i stayed in bed a teensy bit longer and before you know it we're all scrambling to get sophie to school. i think we pulled up to the school one minute before the bell rang. wow. that's not like us.

Then we get home and i get owen some cereal and grab my phone to text doug to see if he was late. but i got side tracked by an email i got from GOOP. Gwyneth Paltrow's temporary nashville apt makeover. oh. my. It's the most incredible thing. And it was done on a 'budget' and in 10 days!

I want to live there. i love it! industrial and modern but beautiful!

WEll, then i looked down and it was 8:27, 3 minutes to get owen to school. Whaat?

I'm just not all here today, i guess.

Good thing it's the end for us. now, what to do to celebrate?
