Hi All. We're back after a short break. have tons to post. not sure if I'll get to it all but tonight i added a ton of pics to my iphoto. I think i'll start with this!
Most of you reading this blog already know Paisley, but did you know that she and Simon are less than 24 hrs apart? And we have it all arranged for them to be married...i'm sure that won't be a problem in 25 years.

I can't even remember how old they were here. Teensy, tiny! A month, maybe?

And now look at them a few weeks ago. (6 mos) Big and sitting up all proper.
Look how happy Simon is to see a camera.
Oh, the birthday parties they're going to have.
{think, paisley decor and playing simon says! because brooke and i are just that clever.}
And a bonus pic of simon for the Grandmas.
This boy is 7 months now. We were a little off on our check ups so we just went on Monday.
STATS:
(how's this for precise, haha)
19 lbs (50%)
can't remember how tall (75%)
6 teeth
4 on top, 2 on the bottom
with another coming in on the bottom -- I know, it's nutty!
Serious army crawling all over like crazy. Tonight i was giving Penny a bath and he crawled down the hallway looking for me.
Pulled up on his crib
I left him sitting in his crib with some toys and when i came back, he looked like this.
And he's babbling the mamas and the dadas and he and penny are starting to play. At least they try to until she bites him on the finger.
If anyone has any ideas on how to help a biter, let me know. We could use the help over here.

ReplyDeletethat Simon is one strong kid. Seriously strong.
We miss you guys, will have to hang out when my family leaves.
ooops, this is brooke on my sisters login
and I love Jessica's blankets. its awesome.
ReplyDeleteAwwww.... they are adorable. I love them.
ReplyDeleteHe is just beautiful! They both are!
ReplyDeleteA few things we used to use on biters in the autistic preschool are, a bite of lime or lemon or a spray of listerine in the mouth every time they bite...that's for older kids though. I don't know how it would work on a two year old.
ReplyDeleteJake started biting around that age. I bit him hard...left teeth marks in his little arm and asked him if he liked it...he never did it again.
ReplyDeleteKaren, you we're hard core at that preschool! i love it. biting the lemon is great.
ReplyDeleteAnd kaylene, biting back hard seems so cruel and so genius all at the same time. if she keeps pushing me, she just might get a taste of her own medicine.
