Please excuse the over-active blogger syndrome

...going on over here at the Historical Society. I'm trying to take advantage of the summertime and the absence of school schedules, sports schedules, daily lunches/homework and, oh yeah, and INFANT to care for!! (somebody hold me, i'm so scared!)

My suspicion is time will be limited at that point and I'll have to disappear again for a while.

Happy Surprises of the Weekend

My sister, Kelly, came in town with her 4 kids to save our summer. Oh, do we have plans!!

Jessica and CJ are house hunting and came over for an impromtu BBQ out on the lawn. Plus, Jess is staying another week to continue the search. wahoo!

The amazing 3-D slip and slide Owen chose from Target was really quite fun until I popped the shark's dorsal fin while blowing it up with the air compressor.
