A beginning

Here it is. The middle of July, the middle of 2009 and yet I have a new beginning. Most of you know I shut down Zelzah Files after a brief, but slightly weird encounter with a twitter freak. I meant to take the rest of the year off citing blog exhaustion, lack of time and inspiration. It worked for a couple of months and in the meantime I began printing out Blog Books for 2006, 2007 and 2008 through Blurb.

{It's so incredibly easy, you should all go do it. Today. Don't wait. Seriously, it's rad. And no, I'm not getting kick backs from blurb.com, I swear!}

Anyway, after reading through all of those years of kid trials and triumphs, skin care woes {always}, birthday parties and even the mundane, I realized blogging is by far the best family journal i could ever put together. And when i'm 60 and missing all my babies I can look back and remember how great life was with 4 crazy kids in the house.

So here I am, a new name, a sweet new design (thanks to the awesome Lyndsay that just moved into our ward!) and a new appreciation for what a blog is all about.

It's good to be back, I've missed you all.

p.s. if you want to join The Chamberlain Family Historical Society, just click on the link to the right. I just might send you a membership card and a Fez.
